A unique & vibrant cultural center in the heart of the city
Kafé 44 is more than just a café in Stockholm. It is also a place for culture, politics and activism, run by the workers' cooperative Kapsylen since 1961.
In the basement is Scen 44, a stage for alternative music that has organized concerts with both local and international bands since 1990. Next to the stage is Bokhandeln INFO, a bookstore that sells literature on anarchism, feminism, anti-racism and other radical topics.
